“Thank you, Your Honor. No questions. Just congratulations on a really exciting project. I certainly am proud of all the incredible work of our water department. So telling that story, I do believe, is critical. I had the opportunity to actually come over to Boonshoft, I believe, a little more than a year ago now and just SEE THE REPUTATION IN REAL TIME, RIGHT, BEING THE SECOND MOST VISITED MUSEUM IN OUR REGION. SO, AND JUST THE IMPACT ON STUDENTS, I CAN CERTAINLY APPRECIATE. THAT IS AN EXPERIENCE THAT I CERTAINLY BELIEVE ALL OUR YOUNG PEOPLE SHOULD HAVE. SO, I'M CERTAINLY LOOKING FORWARD TO…”

“I have no questions, Your Honor. I just want to thank you for your leadership and work on this. I'm excited to see this influence our planning and processes. So thank you for bringing it forward.”
“Yes, Your Honor. Just one. I just want to recognize the service agreement on our calendar with Sinclair to provide a student in the prosecutor's office for victim assistance. Sinclair has over 300 plus career pathways. This is another one. So I'm just thankful for their continued investment in our careers as well as just the economic opportunity that they're providing in our prosecutor's office. So those are all my comments.”

“Thank you, Your Honor. Just a few. First of all, thank you for this comprehensive report. It's the first time I think the IAA update has come before us, at least in the time that I've been up here. So it's good to see this work being done. I am curious, given the number of sustained complaints, Could you speak a little bit more to what the nature was of those? It did sound like there was some patterns around just how the engagement with the citizen was going. But I'm curious if you could maybe speak to what the key consistency was in the sustained complaints.”
“All right, thank you for that detail. The other thing I quickly say, I was involved in the police reform work. I was specifically on the use of force committee. So I recall having pretty lengthy discussions about de-escalation. So I appreciate the recommendations along in terms of building on that work. I'd be curious to know, AT WHAT POINT THE POLICY REVIEW COMMITTEE WOULD BRING THOSE FINAL POLICY CHANGES FORWARD? IS THERE A TIMELINE THAT'S BEEN SET ALREADY OR IS IT STILL IN THE WORKS? DO YOU WANT TO SPEAK TO THAT?”
“Yes, Your Honor, just a few. I want to... lift up the organizations that are recipients of our community development block grants. All of these organizations are doing very safety net type of work in our city from Daybreak to Homeful to YWCA, Miami Valley Meals. So I'm glad to see these come forward. Also, Mayor, I just want to thank you for bringing the resolution forward in regards to the THE FUNDS THAT WILL BE GENERATED BY THE FUNDS THAT WILL BE OFFSET THROUGH THE GENERATION OF THE NCA. SO I APPRECIATE IT. THOSE ARE ALL MY COMMENTS.”

“Thank you, Your Honor. Yeah, I just want to congratulate our sustainability office and law department for the work on the AES settlement. I think our residents were well represented and will receive some benefits and additional protections due to this settlement. So I just want to congratulate the organization on that. Of course, as we see electric rates rising, this is a very important item that we'll be approving today. So thank you all. Those are all my comments.”

“Thank you, your honor. Yes, couple brief comments. First, I just want to congratulate Daybreak. They have received a $270,000 community impact grant from Lowe's. There will be a press conference tomorrow morning. Look forward to joining that. This is part of their $1 million renovation to expand their campus which will be the first time that they're doing so decades so congratulations to daybreak and their leadership they serve a very i think critical gap in our city serving homeless young people so i look forward to joining them and want to congratulate them on this this award towards their…”
