“Dear colleagues, the Lakewood Community Recreation and Education Commission met over the summer to discuss youth sports programs, camps, adult programs, swimming lessons, pool use, and facility maintenance. Programs are continually at capacity and Lakewood residents are enjoying the pools as usual, although they are now closed. Facilities are continuously being maintained and upgraded when possible. New equipment is added as necessary and staffing is at normal levels. Fall programs are beginning with new flag football programs for younger players and programs are expected to be full again.…”
