“All right, we have a quorum. We've got a busy agenda, so let's get to it. Is there a motion to approve the minutes for August 10th, 2026?”

“Is there a second? Second. Any discussion? Second. All in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? Abstentions? The minutes are adopted. We have one item on the agenda for today. Staff are recommending that it be continued to the next Planning Commission meeting. But if you came to speak to it, you may. And you can also do it at the next one. So I will open the public hearing for 3561 44th Street. Was anyone here to speak to that item?”

“All right, so you'll have two chances to testify because this is getting continued. So I'm not sure why it's being continued, but staff are recommending that we bring it up at the next meeting. But the public notice went out that the hearing would be today. So if you came today, you have a chance to testify now, and you can testify again at the next meeting. There won't be any presentation from staff at this one. There will be one at the next one.”

“So we won't be able to answer the questions now, but you can testify, you can ask your questions on record, and then staff can get back to you about them before the next meeting.”

“Great. Thank you. Like I said, we can't answer that now, but Andrew Fentz is the staff person for this. If you talk to him, you can get his email, and he can answer your questions and update you on any changes that might be made between now and when the application comes back to us in September. Would anyone else like to speak? Not seeing anyone, so I will close the hearing.”

“All in favor say aye. Aye. Opposed? Abstentions? That is adopted. All right, that concludes our business for today. We do have Committee of the Whole on Thursday, and then our next full Planning Commission meeting would be September 14th. Council Member Chowdhury also wanted to invite all of us to a council policy roundtable on data centers. It's going to be happening this Wednesday the 26th from 1.30 to 3.30 in Council Room 392. That's all in your inboxes. Make sure you check your city emails. And then, Kimberly, can you tell us more about what's on the agenda for Thursday? You said a zoning…”
