No, ma'am. Thank you for your presentation.

Well, I was basing it on the $200,000. $200 million. $200 million, right? And then we're seeing $155. And then my other question is, how tight is the $155? Is it a tight number?
Thank you. I have a lot of questions. So first off, I just want to say I agree with Council Member Anthony that I think they should come back. We are in a public meeting. The documents are out. And if this is going to rise to the level of $4.6 million, I think everyone should have the right to review it and weigh in on it and be okay with it. Certainly I want to know more about the financing of this. What does this do to our general fund? How much of this money is coming from Measure P? How much money is this coming from the general fund? How much money is this coming from grants? How much…
I agree. I don't think we gave the direction is the problem. I don't remember giving that direction.
What's the breakdown? Like what is the bonds? What's general fund? What's measure P? I was expecting to see those numbers.
And as far as, like, rising interest rates, fuel cost, you know, all the uncertainties worldwide, have we accounted for that in this budget?
And you heard that, you know, adding the PLA as a nominal amount of money is 4.6 million nominal in Jennifer Becker's eyes.
I know. I'm asking you. To me, it's a big number. And how do you balance this now? Because now you've just been told this is going to be $4.6 million more, potentially.
Adopt a resolution. Excuse me. Madam Mayor, thank you. Adopt a resolution of the City Council of the City of Burbank approving the establishment of a salary for the classification of accounting technician. Attachment one, adopt a resolution of the City Council of the City of Burbank approving the citywide schedule. Attachment two.
Thank you, Madam Mayor. So on the October 1st, I did the preview of the completed replacement terminal. That night I attended the Providencia St. Joseph's Breast Cancer Awareness Lighting Ceremony, which was, I think... Deputy mayor was there beautiful the way they lit the building up on September 3rd I went to the book festival and then later that day I went to the crash festival at BWP for the Rose Parade float that was a lot of fun they had a a couple food trucks out there and then Later, I went to the GAIN Federal Credit Union flea market and pumpkin patch, which we got a pumpkin, and my…
Either it's a request for a report, but I was driving with the deputy mayor from the airport down Hollywood Way, and I nearly clipped an Amazon four-wheeled cargo bike. And as cool as they are, they... They don't fit the bike lane. And I just don't know how street legal they are. But I got two calls from people saying, have you seen these things? They're clogging up the traffic on your way to the new airport. And there's just mounds of cars behind them. So I don't know how they fit into traffic. The system?
When I was driving, he came right out of the bike lane, and I swerved, and it was very close. So it was very concerning. Again, I got a couple reports about it. Thank you.

Just piggybacking on that, Council Member, were you trying to ask the question, are there barriers that we can maybe, permit barriers that maybe we can offer to get more post houses in Burbank? Because if that's the case... Well, I'm not asking the question.
I think it's a good idea that we'd look at it. If we can look at our permitting process and get more post houses in Burbank to take advantage of that tax credit, It builds synergy in the community and keeping everything local. So I think it's a good idea.
I just want to reiterate, I think we want to streamline the process, and I don't want staff to say, well, they got four trucks and three ladders and... 10 people working on it, 5 people, it gets a little cumbersome. I think streamline it, issue the permit, and just charge the flat fee. I don't think If we start leaving out the staff as to how many, you know, what's large scale, what's small, what's ultra small, what's medium, it starts to cumber the process again. So I think we want to keep it streamlined, issue the permit, and just recover our costs and be done with it.
Makes sense. I think as long as we can cover our costs and staff can say, look, normally we spend whatever, 30 minutes on this, but we're only spending 15? Yeah, why not? That's fine. I get it.
About this? Yeah, well, I'll just start off since we're all talking. I went to a number of the meetings. I was impressed with the dialogue and the input and most important, just the amount of industry experts that were there. I think for me, the most exciting thing, and I'd like to move forward tonight on, is the Creative Hub. It's going to be the incubator, I think, towards other development in our city with regards to the film business, and I think It really will create a synergy in our community where this is the place to come. You're right near Hollywood. You got all the post houses. You…
Thank you, Madam Mayor. You know, I think it's important. If our budget was more robust, then I certainly would say, yeah, we can take a gamble and look at the numbers in a year or two. But my concern is being fiscally responsible. And if we keep going down this road where budget is deeper and deeper in the deficit then okay yeah we have more filming in Burbank but we also laid off two or three employees so or we can't do some of the things that we want to do and help out our nonprofits and and grant giveaways and so we're if we continue to go down this road with our budget it's going to…
Thank you, Madam Mayor. Maybe if you did three shoots in a two-year period, your third shoot's free.
You incentivize. You say, oh, you go to Burbank, you're only paying for two, and your third one's free.
So, I mean, there's ways of doing this without, you know.
I think there's ways that we can incentivize this. Yeah. I mean, yeah.
Thank you, Madam Mayor. On Wednesday, September 16th, I went to the Burbank Police Foundation Awards Luncheon where all of you were at, and it was a fabulous presentation of our officers and what they do and deal with every day. And then... That night, I was at the Police Commission meeting. The 17th, I was at the Economic Development Subcommittee with Deputy Mayor, and I went to a new coffee shop called Last Sip Cafe, and they're actually going to put a dinner menu on their menu. dinner items on their menu so it's not just coffee in the Burbank side of Toluca Lake on Riverside Drive and nice…
