Thank you, Madam Chair, Vice Chair. Director, again, I appreciate your... Information that you're sharing with I think to where are some of this disconnect we got eight new commissioners to here I remember when this came before us on the last Commission to vote on this one of the things was the price of it I think it was if you could tell me the price overall price of the 18 million or some the software component which is the first piece we came before you it was roughly 2.3 million for the software for a five-month term
Less than 15 million. And so I say this, and so this 1.3 million is part of that number, right?
Well, I say this, is that I do hear the concerns of my colleagues because I hear, too, from others outside, but I trust your expertise as our Director IT. You've been doing an amazing job to keep things on track. To this point, and I just heard from Director off and that's about where she feel like we need to keep moving to get this trip this thing right so in your best judgment you could tell us today how do you I mean which what would you advise us in the sense that we need to continue to go and why we should continue to go where we are because of the current investment that's number one…

Thank you, Madam Chair. I just want to just say to the Director, as I know, my sister-in-law tonight, she'll be getting in the car driving to Nashville. She's a nurse, but she drives up there two, three times a week to get better pay than working here. So I just wanted to add that that's a fact, and I see that here in our community. Thank you.

Thank you, madam chair. And I just want to say to the list in public, I hope they hear clearly what the chairwoman stated about the budget meetings and how they are laid out. So it's no drastic change, but thank you for clarifying that very clearly.
Thank you, Madam Chair, and I just want to thank our trustee and State Representative Parkinson, Council Commissioner Stephanie Love, Councilwoman Logan, and State Rep-elect Talisa Franklin for our town hall meeting that we held last weekend, and Riley, over 200 constituents came out, and it was a very well-attended, very well put together town hall meetings. So I want to thank them for supporting us and the trustee for sharing some valuable information with our community. And also our next District 6 stakeholder meeting is coming up on the 13th, I'm sorry, yeah, 13th of October, and we're…
I apologize, Madam Chair, but I appreciate getting back in here and to my great colleague, Commissioner Brooks. Since we share Fraysia, and Fraysia will be celebrating a 200-year bicentennial, November the 10th, at North Fraysia Community Seminole. And that's from noon to 5 p.m. So it's right on the borderline of District 6 and District 7. So we invite everybody to be there with us October the 10th at the North Frasier Community Center, 2555 St. Elmo. I'm already a sponsor. All right.
Thank you, Madam Chair and Director. I know in committee the other day, I asked about the the people with with. With this summer, are they here with you today?
Okay. If they can just come up. And I just say, I know you all just heard the names of our neighbors and our family and friends that was just spoken of who died in that jail. And we know it's a tough task ahead. I know I had spent some time with the sheriff to talk about some of the deaths that happening at jail many of these people are sick before they even enter into our jail so making sure and I know I don't know if you all had opportunity to listen to all the questions that were asked and committed but I ask that y'all have a chance to go back and listen to to the to those questions that…
One more thing before my time go out is that, and appreciate you and your condolence, that it was said in the previous contract it was one per 1,400 residents at the jail, one therapist per 1,400. Do you know the ratio of how many therapists we have per?

Thank you. And I appreciate that. And just thinking about how we're moving forward with this, I know you made it pretty clear. I thank you for what you just addressed about where the dollars come from because the people out there, they hear $6 million and they know where we are in trying to make sure this cash flow is where we need to go. Could you just say again like the fees, where these dollars came from and how they just connected to your office and this is not money that can just come to the general fund. Absolutely.
Yes, I would like to be added as a sponsor. Second.

Okay, and I know that we have had some of our constituents come throughout the year to talk about issues both in 201 Poplar and that jail. My other question is, when we look at the penalty form, could you tell me how many deaths we may have experienced in the last, I guess, three years thereof? and if they were connected to mental health issues that you may know of.
And so I also know that one of the concerns, and it is a very concern when we talk about the ratio, I think at 201 Poplar, I don't know if this is what you deal with at the Pentafolk, two is like one therapist to 1,400 ratio. Is that what we're looking at in this contract?
If you get that, I appreciate it. And I appreciate that it is being that that was something that was looked at in this matter. When you when we look at the ideal and I'm sorry to it, I couldn't pull my documents up for some reason, because I wanted to point out something that I thought I saw here. You might can help me that is stated that it was going to be a focus on small businesses. organizations to offer the therapies or therapy, not big, it wasn't something to the effect of a big organization. So I was focused on smaller organizations, which I'm okay with thinking about those small…
Thank you, and I just got back in the queue.
