“Thank you. So Mary Latiker articulated kind of the two points that I wanted to make. One of which is thank you all for asking the questions that I was going to ask. I appreciate that. The second is, Yeah, that I also am compelled by all of the public feedback that we got regarding the cap. And I do think that for the autonomous units, there is reason to, I think we could catch some people who are fudging the definition of primary residence, and that may be a five-month cap. I think, Ted, my definition of primary residence is six months and a day, which I think is similar to that 183 days gap.…”

“Great. Thank you, Mr. Chair. One question for the proponent. One question for city staff. For the proponent. So I was going to ask how the fire department would access if your site is a Pac-Man, how the fire department would access the units in the mouth of the Pac-Man. But I think based on Hans, what you said, you haven't met with the fire department yet. Is that right?”

“Yeah, I have a feeling they may look at it a little bit differently than Cosentini, but I appreciate that you'll follow up with them. For city staff, oh, so DPW is not here. So Evan, Mason, I'm going to throw this to the two of you. But I was... Surprised is a gentle way of saying it, to see that for 105 new bedrooms, there's no INI mitigation. And I guess, what is the threshold for INI mitigation? Do you guys know that off the top of your head? And how can a building of this size not trigger that?”

“Thank you. Yeah, similarly, well, I don't know if similarly, but to reflect on what some of my other board members have said, you know, I really appreciate the presentation. I appreciate the public meetings you guys have had and the work that you've done with city staff. And I appreciate everyone that's called in from the public. I also would have loved to have seen more family-sized units, and I understand what you're targeting and where you're going, but this is one of the cities that wants more family-sized units. I know that's not the norm necessarily. I do certainly appreciate the...…”

“Thank you. So I have a question for the board. As the... still newest board member who joined after the overlay was adopted and the design review process was changed. And we have now a much more advisory role than a approval role on projects of a certain size. I'm curious how you all feel about that and kind of where, if you think that that's, I mean, I will say broadly, you know, I believe that we should not hold up the process and that more housing is better. And I don't think, you know, we want to add additional steps and overregulate. but I am thinking about an AAHO project that came…”

“THANK YOU. FIRST, THANK YOU ALL FOR YOUR RESPONSES AND FEEDBACK TO MY EARLIER QUESTION. THANK YOU MR. BROWN FOR THE PROPOSAL AND TO ALL THE COMMENTERS. I am in Ted's camp. I think we should let the city, let the existing zoning play out a little bit longer. Let the city respond as they get feedback. I know they are getting feedback regularly. And, you know, I mean, I think that there's... Potentially you know room to kind of tweak and but to think about it comprehensively and to really understand what the implications are before we before we start kind of chopping this thing up. And I think…”

“Thank you. So just to stick on this while we're talking about it, I think what you submitted, the documentation you submitted showed that it would be just a blank white covering on those windows. Is that right?”

“Okay, great. And then a question going back to the Parcel 1C. I think I saw something about city staff asking about bollards being installed and I think maybe John Maxon coming back and saying that bollards aren't safe for pedestrians and cyclists and so I'm curious both about on both sides of that one is there kind of staff reacting to any Evidence that cars do turn down that that pathway and two There are tons of bike paths that have bollards at intersections. I'm surprised to hear that that's a safety issue for pedestrians or cyclists, and I'm curious to hear more about that.”

“The first question was for city staff, yeah, about just kind of what if there is any evidence that cars are going down there.”

“Thank you. Yeah, I think you'll get unanimous support for the mural. And I like all the plans. I'm supportive of the plans for 1C, though I think a bollard's on either end of that. are probably a pretty good idea. So I'd push back on any concerns about safety on that. And I love Ashley's idea about the plantings in front of whatever screening is on the windows. But having something that I'm glad you'll have something there. Generally, I'm supportive of the use and appreciate all that you guys are doing.”

“Thank you. I will say I'm less in love with the look of the building. It feels a little bit retrograde somehow in my mind. I think the CDD memo had a lot of really good comments on coloration and facade and dealing with the differences breaking out the retaining walls versus the ground floor of the building. SO I WOULD PAY ATTENTION TO THE DESIGN COMMENTS AND THE CDD MEMO. BUT GENERALLY, I AGREE THAT I'M NOT OVERLY CONCERNED WITH THE RELIEF THAT IS BEING REQUESTED. I ASSUME AN EASEMENT WILL BE CREATED FOR THE ACCESS ROAD WITH THE NEIGHBORS, WHETHER IT'S THROUGH SYED HIMSELF OR WITH AN…”
