“Yeah personal story on the skip. I came on the farm in 1980 And the springtime we used to have to clean up beer bottles cans aren't bad, but beer bottle you break the food beer bottle and PUNCTURE TRACTOR TIRES. ONCE WE HAD TWO FLAT TIRES RAN IN THE MIDDLE TRYING TO GET WORK DONE. VERY NERVING THAT OUR FARM YEAR MYSELF, MY COUSIN JOHN, SUPERVISOR ON FARM YEAR PUSHED THE STATE TO FORM YOU TO GET BOTTLE BUILT WHICH WOULD BE DEPOSITS ON BOTTLES AND WE FOUGHT THAT FOR YEARS AND THE STORE KEEPERS AND THE BOTTLE SHOPS DIDN'T WANT TO DO THAT. From Western Pennsylvania, Mike Fisher was his district…”

“Uh, we raise a generation of people and that every year we pleased to sit at 1012 bushels of care. Well, we're not in 1 basket. So folks like you that are doing that is remarkable. Once people learn, it's not right to throw beer bottles, not quite for cans. I'll stop doing as opposed to forcing you with it with the tax and with the deposit. So I can remember what you're doing. And also, Mandy, so thank you very much.”

“He wants to be here for three weeks. He's doing half of them with us, half of them with Columbia. He started the summer with an internship with Dickinson Law, which is where he plans to go next year or so. Thankfully, he's got my genes and he has to keep going.”

“Transfer from micro came to us, and it's been a great effort. Like, like Larry and Gary both said that every, every year, the lily pads come a little closer to the shore and we're about as close to be able to get that problem fixed over and over and over again. The recipe sent to it, a line reclamation project. Anytime you move materials, it costs lots of money to construct. And let's. Oh, is it going to be the salt?”

Not quoted here: it may name a member of the public. Hear it at the meeting.

  8. Play at 55:26
“Yeah, I echo what Larry said. I mean, so much that my wife was supposed to be on a vacation. Part of the truth. We were out there working. Actually, I had a breakfast meeting with Clark and folks yesterday and they said, hey, Tell us about elite realty we're considering. So I went through all the things that we thought could be positive. They said, what's the downside? None that we found so far. So that was a big help to them. The data center talked about several different situations. Senator McCormick gave us a, I swear he copied Larry's speech. He talked about the right location and make…”

“I mean, Larry was phenomenal. So we kicked the crap out of everybody else. Yeah, that was fun. That was our fun. And I did, yes, I opted out of the tour of the... Open those speedway and went in the water park for 2 hours. We weren't sitting around drinking cocktails, networking like crazy, working on all these issues, trying to get an opportunity to talk to all the other counties and get some ideas. I mean, they also were asking us about ideas too. So, yeah, that's what I, you know, several counties started meeting.”

“So. Give an example. The last appointment I was asked to take care of was an FCS appointment. Someone retired. And Mary, who had been the director of SEMO downtown forever, had just stepped down. I approached her because 30% of the ridership is in our district. So I thought, she also knows the expense. What better person, once again, put a female on the board, plus a person whose neighbors and friends use that service that she also very close because of her downtown Shenandoah connection with the Hispanics. So we don't just give it out to a campaign donor or to my son or to our daughter. We…”

    Commissioners · Aug 6, 2026

  13. Play at 1:11:15
“The trivia contest, which was an interesting question, was how many counties have more cows than people?”

    Commissioners · Aug 6, 2026

  14. Play at 1:11:24
“We didn't get that one right. We did with Louis, with the trivia. Well, we said that we were spending time studying civics. You watched me. Anybody want to guess which counties have more cows than people? There's two. And it's not the two that I saw. Venango. Nope. How about my guesses? I guess Venango and Sullivan. I thought Sullivan, definitely. It's fault that you had is worth 1,000 people. Absolutely.”

“Danielle, I appreciate your presentation. My wife and I only fall apart between the constructs when the PPL power lines come across. It's all full of corn and soybeans right now. Every week I get another request to put solar panels on it. Your picture here shows me that we're not going to take some plant-based farming, so I appreciate that.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  16. Play at 10:42
“i like your presentation i have a commissioner friend who says he's gonna be a good neighbor yeah that's one of the biggest things their pr has been horrible”

“be Roger Bell and say, Roger, you're out of compliance again. So I must have done that 30 times now.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  18. Play at 18:04
“Exactly. There's no meter to check this. It has to be the complaint has to be there plus the person that agreed smells bad. So If one person is available or if the wind shifts, so it's very difficult to get this. There's no stiff meter that we can measure.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  19. Play at 18:21
“So we're on this. I mean, Larry's been a career.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  20. Play at 29:11
“Just for the record Jessica surely was here. She understands she didn't at no point defended what they're doing. She is very upset with what's going on and she's trying to work with the scope of the law and the rule of regulations. Plant down on this operation, but she was very, very supportive of us and say, listen, I get what you're saying. This is not. I mean, once again, you know, Larry Larry requested the governor, the secretary come here personally together for 2 hours. So we fixed somehow.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  21. Play at 30:20
“John Brzezinski, the deputy at DEP, is born and raised in Monty City and has relatives and friends in the area, so he was the one that pushed the secretary real hard and said, listen, we've got to get somebody up there fast. They did some of their fast work. yeah he's actually assigned to the office across the street so if we get a complaint he's out there within five minutes well whether they actually smell it or not it happened please smell it well and it just needs to be stopped so no one smells it if that's the solution the only way to get them in trouble is to have the person to complain…”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  22. Play at 41:56
“There's a green envelope on your ballot's inside. There's also a security envelope. All I get is a security envelope the day they're handed out on election day. So they open it up that day and they see that the the actual ballot envelope is done wrong. I mean, they can't really touch the ballot before elections. Go ahead, Chris.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  23. Play at 44:59
“Some were wrong precincts. Some were wrong precincts. Some were out of county. Some were people that moved, they didn't get their, you know.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  24. Play at 46:26
“Yes, all three. So is the actual election go across? And like I said, some were people that didn't change their address.”

    Commissioners · Jul 22, 2026

  25. Play at 59:08
“So the problem is the companies that generate power are forced to have 25% green energy. In Pennsylvania. I have a big, there's 65 windmills starting in my property building in Shemokin. They're not near as efficient. There's push to, we just turned on two applications for solar panels. They don't produce cheap energy, but the companies are being forced to do that. They have to have one fourth of their work class to be green energy. So that's why we're paying $0.12 to the $0.09 per kilowatt because they're being forced by government regulation to make green power. It's not economic.”
