Okay, I'd like to call the Council City Council meeting for August 11th, 2026 to order. Roll call.

Here. I'm going to do things a little different tonight. We're going to do the Pledge of Allegiance, but first we do the invocation.

new Catholic priest for St. Peter and Paul. So Father Michael Rosa is new to our city and new to the church. Please come up. At the Faith in Action dinner, you'd ask Steve Evans and said, do you want to meet the mayor? Because you want to be active in the community. We like to hear that. So thanks for being here tonight. And please, if you would, say a little bit about yourself. Of course, St. Peter and Paul are like 1,100 active members and very active in the community. So tell us a little about yourself and then lead into an invocation. Thank you.

Everyone please stand and then remain standing for the Pledge of Believers.

Father Michael, when I met him, that I had met the Pope, and he said, well, I haven't even met the Pope yet, so if you need any help, just let me know. Next item.

Presentation be given by Interim City Manager Jessica Sharp.

Any other questions or comments? I think in the last discussion we had, I'm glad it's worked out that we can move that up. I think there'll be some big benefits to that. So being there's no action.

Okay, so if there's no other questions, move on to the next item.

Speakers may address the council under the terms of ordinance number 4765. Time is limited to four minutes per speaker. Please refer to the last page of the agenda for specific rules governing input. Is there anyone on the left side of the room that would like to speak? Anyone on the right side of the room would like to speak? Okay, being none, next item.

Excuse me. The only thing I have tonight I'd like to announce, a former council member, Mike Keefe, passed away last night. He was on the council just a short time, two years. He filled in for a death, I think, of... Mayor Schaffer had filled in as this extra council member. Mike's a super guy. His wife died about a month ago, and he lived right up the street from me. So they've had kind of a tough year or so, but our thoughts and prayers for the family. That's all I have.

Is there any items that anyone would like to pull from the consent agenda and vote on separately? Being none, have a motion to approve? So moved.

Motion by Green. Second by Seton. Roll call.

The presentation will be given by finance director Tim Landry.

Yeah. But the fund balance is the reserves, right?

All right. Any other questions or comments? Motion to approve? Motion. Second. Motion by Houseman. Second by Seton. Roll call.

Any other questions? If not, I have a motion to approve.

Is there an ordinance? There's no action required on that.
