The Board of County Commissioners approved a plan amendment and zone change for 58 acres adjacent to the City of Sisters, changing the designation from forest to rural residential exception area and the zoning from forest use 2 to multiple use agriculture (MUA 10). This decision was made with the understanding that the applicant would work with staff to include enhanced protections for the scenic corridor, forest connectivity, and Trout Creek in the final decision document.
