Zoning, Neighborhoods & Development Committee - Regular Meeting

The City Plan Commission voted to hold two agenda items related to the redevelopment of the former Walmart building at 5825 West Hope Avenue. The proposed project includes an indoor self-storage facility and a data processing/computational research facility, along with affordable housing, a public library branch, and an early voting site. The decision to hold the items was made to allow for further independent studies and community engagement regarding the environmental impact, water usage, noise, and solar energy offset of the proposed data facility.
