City Council - Special Meeting

The Apache Junction City Council approved the tentative budget for Fiscal Year 2026-2027 and adopted the classification and compensation plans for the same fiscal year. They also approved the Public Safety Personnel Retirement System (PSPRS) Pension Funding Policy. Additionally, the council discussed two roadway easement extinguishments and a community maintenance agreement, which will be brought back for consent agenda approval, and debated a proposal to exempt livestock feed from sales tax, requesting further investigation into its financial impact and the number of residents it would affect.
