City Council - Regular Meeting

The City Council discussed and approved a temporary public art policy, which will allow for the installation of public art projects until October 17th, 2026. The Chittenden Solid Waste District presented its fiscal year 2027 budget proposal, which was impacted by a $3 million phishing scam, but assured the council that member municipalities would not bear the burden of closing the funding gap. The council also approved a policy on temporary work agreements and received an update on municipal infrastructure projects, including the Abenaki parking garage, Main Street project, and Winooski-Burlington Bridge.
