City Council - Regular Meeting

The City of Salem Budget Committee met on April 22, 2026, where Russ Allen stepped in as chair. The committee approved additions to the agenda, past meeting minutes, and three arata sheets. A public hearing was held for the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP), followed by questions for staff. The committee voted to close the public hearing for the CIP but keep the record open for written testimony, continuing deliberations at the next meeting. Discussions also covered the Safe, Reliable, and Efficient Infrastructure result area and the Urban Renewal Agency budget, as well as the Strong and Diverse Economy result area.
