Planning Commission - Regular Meeting

The Montgomery Planning Board approved two sets of closed session minutes and one record plat. The Board also received a report from the Parks Director and discussed preliminary recommendations for the Eastern Silver Spring Communities Plan, including zoning, urban design, historic resources, housing, transportation, economic development, small businesses, environment, parks, trails, and community facilities. Additionally, the Board approved an update to the Transportation Fee-in-Lieu Policy and the Sectional Map Amendment for the University Boulevard Corridor Plan. The meeting concluded with an overview of the County Executive’s operating budget and its impact on the Planning Board.
