Common Council - Regular Meeting

The Rome Common Council held an organizational meeting and a regular session. During the organizational meeting, new councilor John Riley was welcomed, and several resolutions were passed, including authorizing the mayor to attend conferences, designating official media, creating standing committees, and appointing a President Pro Tempore. The regular session included public comments on sidewalk snow removal and an update from the Rome Art and Community Center, followed by the approval of numerous resolutions and ordinances concerning financial agreements, grants, and property sales.
