The Planning Commission approved a conditional use permit for the Mount Diablo mixed-use development, a seven-story, 74-unit building with commercial space and a daycare center. The commission also approved a conditional use permit for the LGD Academy, a K-8 private school, with conditions for a one-year review and a "shall have the authority" clause for permit violations. Lastly, a conditional use permit for the Zung Bed and Breakfast Inn was approved with conditions for a one-year review and a "shall have the authority" clause for permit violations.
