Public comments are limited to issues within the purview of the Monterey County Parks Commission and that do not pertain to matters on the agenda. Time limitations are set at the discretion of the Chair.

Commissioner Comments, Request, Recommendations

This is a time set aside for the Commissioners to make a comment or request to refer a matter that is not on the agenda.

Clerk Additions/Corrections

The Commission Clerk will announce agenda corrections, deletions, and proposed additions, which may be acted on by the Parks Commission provided in Sections 54954.2 of the California Government Code.

Approve the June 4, 2026, Parks Commission Meeting Minutes.

a. Receive a report on changing the Parks Commission meeting frequency from every other month to quarterly; and b. Support staff recommendation of moving to quarterly meetings.

Approve 2027 Parks Commission Meeting Dates.

Receive verbal presentation on the Parks and Lakes Division and Royal Oaks Park 60th Anniversary event held on September 12, 2026.
