The Medford City Council Committee of the Whole discussed a proposed 20-year contract for solar panel installation at the McGlynn school, which would generate 48% of the school's electricity needs and save an estimated $64,000 in the first year. Councilors raised questions regarding the financial analysis of leasing versus ownership, liability for roof warranties, and the finalization of contract details.
