50 Merrydale Road Development Project – Request for a Major Environmental and Design Review Permit for a new multifamily residential development with 12 residential units and waiver requests pursuant to State Density Bonus Law at a vacant property (APN 179-221-05). California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Determination: The project is exempt from the requirements of CEQA pursuant to Section 15332 of the CEQA Guidelines as it involves an infill development project that meets the Class 32 criteria. Zoning: Multifamily Residential (HR1.8); General Plan Designation: High Density Residential (HDR); Applicant: Stewart Summers, SKS Architects. Owner: August Place, LLC
Project Planner: Renee Nickenig, Associate Planner Recommended Action.
