At this time members of the public may submit comments in writing to address the Committee on matters which are not on this evening's agenda, provided the matter is within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Public Art Committee. At this time members of the public may address the Commission regarding any items not on the agenda and within the subject matter jurisdiction of the Commission (no action can be taken on off-agenda items unless authorized by law).
APPROVAL OF THE SEPTEMBER 16, 2026, REGULAR MEETING MINUTES
GIFTED PUBLIC ART
There was no gifted public art received on behalf of the Commission in October.
COMMUNICATION AND CORRESPONDENCE
There was no correspondence received on behalf of the Commission during October. RECOMMENDATION: Receive and file.
DONATION OF MICRO GALLERY STRUCTURE
The Public Art Commission will consider the donation of the micro gallery structure to the Arvida Book Company Foundation for the display of public art in Old Town Tustin. RECOMMENDATION: Approve the donation of the micro gallery structure constructed by the ACE Mentor Program LA/OC through a grant from the Samueli Foundation, to the Arvida Book Company Foundation.
APPOINTMENT OF JUROR FOR TUSTIN LEGACY PARK SCULPTURE WALK
The Public Art Commission will consider appointing a juror to select artwork for the launch of the Tustin Legacy Park Sculpture Walk. RECOMMENDATION: Review the qualifications of the recommended juror and potentially approve the appointment to include an honorarium in an amount not to exceed $1,500.
