General Fund Reserve Appropriation for Installation of the Clock Donated by the Sanger High School Class of 1976 and Related Downtown Improvements

Recommendation: That Council adopt Resolution 2026-94 approving a Fiscal Year 2026–2027 budget amendment appropriating $50,666 from available, unassigned General Fund reserves for installation of the clock donated by the Sanger High School Class of 1976 and related improvements at N Street and 7th Street; authorize the City Manager or designee to implement the project within the approved appropriation, subject to applicable City purchasing requirements, final design review, and required approvals; and adopt a finding under CEQA Guidelines section 15301 (Existing Facilities).

Recommendation: Receive the Year-to-Date Budget vs. Actual Financial Presentation.

Introduction and First Reading of an Ordinance to Update the Sanger Municipal Code to Implement the 2025 California Building Standards Code.

Recommendation: Introduce, by title only, an ordinance of the City Council of the City of Sanger amending Chapter 14 of the Sanger Municipal Code to replace the 2022 California Building Standards Code and implement the 2025 California Building Standards Code as found in Title 24 of the California Code of Regulations, and find that the ordinance is exempt from CEQA pursuant to CEQA Guidelines Section 15061(b)(3).
