Request approval of September 21, 2026 regular meeting minutes

The governing board by appropriate resolution or ordinance may authorize the budget officer to transfer moneys from one appropriation to another within the same fund subject to such limitations as it may prescribe. Any such transfer shall be reported to the governing board at its next regular meeting and shall be entered in the minutes.

Request approval of budget amendment - Sheriff $137,523 - to accept and appropriate the Local Law Enforcement Officer Compensation Bonus Program administered by the North Carolina State Bureau of Investigation.

This program is funded by Session Law 2026-41 and provides each sworn local law enforcement officer who was employed as an officer as of June 30, 2026 with a bonus of $1750.

Request approval of Southwestern NC HOME Consortium proposed amendments to 2021, 2022, and 2023 Annual Action Plans converting $418,514.85 from Tenant-Based Rental Assistance activities to New Rental Construction activities - Southwestern Commissioner Housing Project Manager LeNay Shular

Request approval of a professional services agreement with Perses Consulting LLC for Hurricane Helene Corrective Action Implementation and Emergency Operations Plan update - Emergency Management Coordinator Zack Koonce
