DISCUSSION ITEMS
The purpose of the work session will be to determine a vision for Vance Brand Airport. Specific objectives will include: - Creation of a list of possible new and/or improved amenities, programs, and facilities that might be worthy of consideration for the airport - Discussion of other ideas for building bridges of trust with the community and neighbors - Assessment of what the future might bring as well as the current reality - Discussion about what can be learned from prior successes - Evaluation of the list of possible new initiatives according to: - Level of effort to bring into fruition (low, medium, high) - Impacts on city finances (costly, neutral, revenue generator) - Impacts on community and neighbor trust - Sequencing considerations - Discussion of governance models that could support the new vision - Identification of next steps for moving forward.
