I'll go ahead and motion to approve the approval of planning commission minutes from July 21st, 2026.

Thank you so much. Can we get a roll call, please?

Thank you so much. Our next item is the public hearing.

Thank you so much. Before we hear from the applicant, any questions for staff? I have a real quick question and maybe it's more of a point of clarification, but this is only for the second floor area.

So regardless of what, if this is approved today, then any changes, they would have to come back for the subsequent approval for the first floor? Or are we approving first and second floor? Yeah, first and second. First and second?

Thank you. And just another quick question. I'm wondering if you guys, if staff can give us sort of a briefing on the zone variance for the separation from another arcade. I'm assuming that's what I understood from this, from the presentation.

I see. Okay. Sorry. Any more questions for staff? No? I guess we can give the owner an opportunity to speak if you guys so wish. Please state your name for the record.

Thank you so much. Any questions for the applicants? Are there any negative experiences that you can tell us about with your other 60 locations?

Thank you. So I'm going to go in. close the public hearing, and then bring it back to the Commission for discussion. Oh, open, pardon. I'm going to open the public hearing and bring it back for discussion. Any thoughts, Commissioners?

14:30 – 15:49•Alicia Morales

No, I'm just really excited to see round one, aside from the main subject about the license for the alcohol, it's just to see the Shops of Montebello to be able to bring more of the community into the Shops of Montebello and being also aligned with Topgolf and seeing more activity in our city. And especially after the recognition of you know, having great business, right? And seeing those renderings, those two images, right? Those, just to see the Montebello alive again, because for us who grew up in the city of Montebello, born and raised in Montebello, Montebello or the shops of Montebello w

Thank you, Commissioner Morales. I for one also second that sentiment. I think it's an opportunity to bring in not just more jobs to Montebello, but also more incentive for people to visit. Any other comments?

Thank you so much. So with that, Do I have to close public hearing now?

So I'm going to go ahead and close public hearing and bring it to the commission for a vote.

Thank you so much. Can we get a roll call, please?

Thank you so much. And again, congratulations. Thank you for investing in Montebello. Our next item is any planning commission orals? No takers? No? And I guess our last item is to adjourn. Thank you so much.
